Read this poem today. It's from Taste Berry for teens #3. Thought its rather nice though..
TWO SIDES OF ME (by Mandy Flapester)
When I was young,
life was easy,
Summers were then,
Slow and breezy.
Now I'm a teen,
No more solitary voice,
It's a complicated life
Everything's a choice.
Once just Mandy,
Now me and she,
I'd like to say "I,"
But it's really "we"
There's me on the inside,
And me on the out,
It's confusing us both,
And keeps us in doubt.
When I look on the inside,
I see a girl who
Feels quite secure
And isn't demure.
She's sure of herself,
Refreshingly cool,
She can handle it all
And is so smart in school.
She's friendly and witty,
Commits to writing in ink,
And she doesn't much care
What anyone thinks.
But on the outside
Is a shy, timid girl,

A girl not in control

Quite often a klutz

Yesterday, my parents brought us(my brother and I) for a long, long walk(which my Dad still says is nothing compared mountain treking days in his youth). So, after we went to PHPPS to submit my bro's sch choices, we took a bus to the back gate of Botanic Gardens. We started walking from there to the visitors centre. Saw nothing interesting, except a flock of 20 over birds chasing/following two toddlers after their family fed the birds. There was also this tree which looks kinda terrifying. From the visitors centre, we continued our walk to the front gate of botanic gardens.
By that time my bro and I were like already extremely tired out. Furthermore, when we walked out of Botanic Gardens, Mum told us that we would have to walk from there to Ngee Ann City, and we were like What?!!! But in the end, we still made it, and enjoyed the Christmas light-ups on our way. Hmm.. this year's design is not bad, but I still prefer last year's.
Okay, the other day I was looking down the window and saw two policemen talking to a woman seriously, and one of them was writing intensely on his notepad. This is kinda scary, to think that there is something wrong, and its also not the first seeing policemen ard here. I still remember that night I could here a woman's voice screaming "LEAVE ME ALONE!" "GO AWAY"! so loudly and continuosly that the whole neighbourhood could hear. Couldn't sleep easily that night..

Nearly lost my phone.. yesterday I dropped it in the Lot1 library. The library was closed when I realised(except some staffs who were packing). Luckily some kind person returned it to the security guard earlier on the staffs returned it to me at its previous state. Thank you Lord! :D

Yesterday- went out with my family. During the morning, we had to go to PHPPS, since my bro had to get his PSLE results. Then we went to sentosa.
Ok, so we were at Sentosa Siloso Beach, and we were just walking on the beach and then sat on the rocks watching the waves. Halfway thru, an enormous wave swept right up the rocks and splashed on us. Of course, we were wetted and slightly annoyed.
Then we witnessed a wierd/funny (whatever u call it) incident. There was this girl who wanted to take a pic of a peacock, but this peacock just refuses to look at her and keep running away. That girl she ran a few metres, trying keep up with it to snap a photo. Then one of her guy friend(the Hero) tried to help.. and guess what? He chased it, and held it tightly by its tail while it tried to wriggle away. But the peacock was so afraid, it squawked loudly and fluffed up its feathers violently. This scared the guy, and when he let go of the peacock, it dashed at full speed ahead, and oops.. it crashed its head against a nearby tram, which was, fortunately, stationary. But the driver didn't see it, and hoot! the tram started moving! The wheels just missed the peacock by centimeters, and the peacock was so scared that with a loud squawk, it fled the scene, and within seconds, there left no trace of it, leaving a bewildered crowd of curious onlookers(which includes us la).
Nothing unusual happened for the rest of the day as we went to Vivo to have dinner.

Yeah.. so I've finally created a blog, after not blogging for 2+ yrs. Well, it took quite a long time to choose a blogskin which is simple yet nice.. hope I can continue to blog for some time in the hols.
Oh, and since the holidays started I've feeling like I nearly lost count of the days already. One week ago there was still 2 papers to go and now it kinda feels like thats weeks ago. Was clearing a portion of my room this afternoon and that made me feel kinda emo. You know, just one to two months ago those worksheets and notes were still a huge part of our lives. Now,looking at those pieces of worksheets and notes, its hard to believe, hard to accept, and hard to ignore the fact that those will not be part of my life anymore. And some of them I don't even know they existed until now. Sad D:
Oh yes.. my mum gave me a number and ask me to call it. She wants me to find a job. And I'm still hesitating if I should call de.. shall make my mind tmr.. oh btw its a DVD shop or something like that I guess.
